Soaring 377-metre luxury tower features record-breaking infinity pool, Asian fine dining at its peak, and over 1,000 rooms offering panoramic views across the Arabian Gulf.
Dubai’s latest architectural marvel, Ciel Dubai Marina, is weeks away from its November opening with claims to become the world’s tallest hotel. At a soaring 1,237 feet (377 metres), it stands 68 feet taller than the current Guinness World Record holder, Dubai’s Gevora Hotel – though the new title is yet to be officially recognised by Guinness.
“Standing at 377 metres, the all-hotel tower will redefine upper-upscale hospitality, blending innovation, luxury and creativity through its striking design, world-class amenities and breathtaking vistas,” says Rob Burns, CEO of The First Group.
Part of IHG’s Vignette Collection, the 82-storey property will add 1,004 rooms and suites to Dubai’s luxury hotel scene, each offering floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and Palm Jumeirah.
The hotel is set to break another record with its infinity pool on the 76th floor, which will claim the title of world’s highest, surpassing the nearby Address Beach Resort. Its crowning feature, Tattu Dubai, will occupy the top levels, with a restaurant and bar on floor 74 and the Tattu Sky Lounge on the 81st floor, serving contemporary Asian cuisine with spectacular views.
Located in the heart of Dubai Marina, the needle-like tower was designed by Norr Group, the architects behind Atlantis The Palm. Whilst it won’t reach the heights of Dubai’s Burj Khalifa (2,717 feet), the world’s tallest building, the 1.1 million-square-foot hotel will add another record-breaking attraction to a city already famous for its architectural superlatives.
