Aman Nai Lert Bangkok opens doors this April, marking a homecoming for the brand that launched its first property in Thailand 37 years ago.

The world continues to marvel at Thailand’s allure—fuelled by vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, its famously friendly service and the viral success of The White Lotus. With the country currenrtly at the pinnacle of global travel destinations — the latest addition to the capital’s luxury landscape is the Aman Nai Lert.

A 36-storey architectural masterpiece that rises from the emerald oasis of Nai Lert Park, offering 52 luxurious suites and 34 branded residences. With suites starting at a generous 94 square meters, this urban retreat seamlessly blends Thai heritage with Aman’s signature elegance.

The timing couldn’t be more perfect as Thailand experiences a renewed surge in global interest, partly fuelled by the phenomenal success of a certain television series. The recent season of White Lotus, set against Thailand’s picturesque landscapes, has catapulted the kingdom back into the global spotlight as the ultimate luxury and wellness destination, spiced up with the show’s dark humor, subsequent internet memes, character schadenfreude and the inclusion of Thai K-Pop superstar Lisa as Mook.

Local hotels, as well as Thai hospitality and lifestyle brands are already benefitting. The Four Seasons Koh Samui (where the season is mostly set) has seen a huge uptick in bookings, and visibility is up for the Anantara Group and even small beauty startups like The Moringa Project, featured in some spa scenes.

“We were delighted to have provided our Moringa-powered products for the spa scenes and excited for guests to experience them across many of the hotels the series was filmed in,” says Marika Nanni, the Bangkok-based founder of The Moringa Project. “White Lotus Season 3 has definitely reaffirmed Thailand’s reputation as a leading luxury destination, and accelerated global awareness of homegrown Thai brands like ours.”

But back to the Aman Nai Lert. Stunning amenities include a 1,500-square-meter spa, multiple dining venues including the Italian-inspired Arva and two Japanese concepts, and a magnificent swimming pool surrounded by century-old trees.

Obviously all this doesn’t come cheap, it is the Aman after all. But wealthy travellers that seek immersion in upscale Thai culture with an unmistakably contemporary edge, this is undeniably Bangkok’s new hotel hotspot and likely a new benchmark for urban luxury resorts.
