The ultra-luxury brand extends its philosophy of tranquillity and space to the Mediterranean with Amangati.

Aman has opened bookings for Amangati, its debut ocean-going motor yacht, bringing the brand’s celebrated philosophy of space, tranquillity and privacy to the Mediterranean from Spring 2027. For devotees who’ve long sought Aman’s particular brand of sanctuary on land, the sea beckons.

Currently under construction, the 180-metre vessel redefines intimate luxury afloat – just 94 guests across 47 suites, each between 68 and 354 square metres with private terraces. Think Japanese ryokan restraint meeting full-height windows and constant ocean views, rather than traditional nautical opulence.

The inaugural season’s five- to eight-night itineraries eschew crowded ports for deeper immersion: the Dalmatian Coast’s Roman vestiges, the French Riviera’s hidden harbours like Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and a rare sunset passage through Venice’s Grand Canal. Select voyages align with the Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix, whilst late departures and overnight stays allow genuine exploration rather than rushed port calls.

Wellness takes precedence with a two-deck, 1,190-square-metre spa – the largest in its category – featuring eight ocean-facing treatment suites. Four distinct restaurants span Mediterranean to Japanese washoku, with in-suite dining available at any hour. Two helipads and six tenders ensure seamless transitions between yacht and shore.

The experience promises what Aman does best: making guests feel as though they have an extraordinary space entirely to themselves, now translated to open water.
