Two iconic Italians partner for a playful sensory collab

Milan’s legendary Hotel Principe di Savoia has embraced the city’s fashion heritage with an exclusive April takeover of its Principe Bar by Italian luxury house Missoni.

The storied fashion brand, renowned for distinctive knitwear and zigzag patterns since 1953, has transformed the elegant bar space with vibrant textiles and signature design elements. Cushions, tables, and accessories now sport the bold colour combinations that made Missoni a global fashion icon.

Bar manager Daniele Celli crafted a special cocktail menu to complement the visual feast. Two standout creations feature Missoni’s collaboration with Malfy Gin – a reimagined Negroni and the photogenic Malfy x Missoni Sunset Spritz, blending gin rosa with white peach and champagne. For those seeking bolder flavours, the Spicy Mezcal Margarita delivers a kick of chipotle, while sober folk can enjoy The White Pearl, a sophisticated mocktail. Executive chef Matteo Gabrielli has additionally developed accompanying canapés that mirror Missoni’s aesthetic.

This limited-time installation at Dorchester Collection’s Milanese flagship offers visitors a chance to see Italian style at its most vibrant – a marriage of fashion, hospitality and mixology in one prestigious address.
